Can YOU outsmart me?
Ranking 74th in the world, I have a knack for noticing things that others don't. For figuring out things that others can't.
I want to use my mind to make a difference in the world!
To provide readers with "a-ha!" moments, stimulating ideas they had never noticed!
I've been blessed with a gift: I want to make a meaningful difference somewhere in society, whether it be in business, government, the economy or elsewhere. Being a columnist or a writer interests me as well.
To provide some credibility about my ability, let me say this: I took a test comprising 12 subtests measuring many aspects of intelligence: including mathematical ability, visual-spatial ability and memory.
My results on this test ranked me 74th in the world rankings of the top scores of people who took the test in the previous month, as published on Facebook.
Facebook has 500 million subscribers, so if only 0.1% of them took the test anytime during that 30 day period, that would mean I placed 74th out of 500,000 people. (By comparison, about 10% of my Facebook friends have ever taken the test).
This analysis of mine estimated that at least 1,250,000 people took the test
Have you ever wondered what someone like me thinks about? My views on controversial topics? Now's your chance.
Challenge yourself. Read my blogs, offer your comments. Test me out. After all, does my intelligence mean that I'm always going to be right?
Here's how this blog came about: I've always been a very observant and knowledgeable person. Friends used to call me Mr. Dictionary when I was a child, and more recently friends would say "He knows everything!" My knowledge has been accumulating so quickly that I wanted an outlet for it. There are so many ideas that course through my head that I need an outlet for it. Hence, I created this blog.
I am certainly not some high and mighty powerful person. I'm actually one of the most down to earth people you'd ever meet.
I am, though, looking to make a bigger difference in the world. Perhaps this blog will provide the advertising I need to get noticed by the right people.
I am a very opinionated person.
But how can I be opinionated? After all, I claim that there is No Such Thing As An Opinion!
The most IMPORTANT thing I can impart to you is this: There is NO SUCH THING AS AN OPINION. Does that seem anti-free speech? Perhaps, but let me explain. To have an opinion implies that the topic is subjective. For a topic to be subjective implies that the evidence doesn't favor one person's "opinion" over that of another person. The evidence almost ALWAYS favors one view over another, even with subjective topics. Otherwise, the evidence would favor an exact 50/50 split, a deadlock, and that's very unlikely.
I am not afraid to write the truth, no matter how controversial. Political correctness degrades society.
I don't consider myself conservative or liberal, I consider myself logical. I support a position if it's supported by evidence and logic, regardless of which side of the political spectrum it falls. However, most people who know my views would certainly categorize me politically, they would not consider me a centrist. There is no doubt in my mind that the bulk of the existing evidence and logic clearly supports one ideology over the other. Read my blog and see if you can figure out which ideology that is, liberalism or conservatism.
With that in mind, read my blog and comment. I love vigorous debate! And feel free to comment on what you think I look like-what do you think someone with my views, writing style etc would look like? How old do you think I am?
ALL views are welcome. I like passion! I am always open to having my mind changed-you just have to provide me with enough reason to do so :)
